ABOUT

I DON'T KNOW,
STIGMA.

"I don't know" isn't the end of the conversation. It's where it begins.

When people don't know the facts, don't know how to start the conversation, or don't know where to turn, stigma grows. Through fashion, storytelling, and community engagement, IDK Stigma helps people move from uncertainty to curiosity to understanding.

The Founder

Health Communicator.
Designer.
Storyteller.

IDK Stigma was founded by Taj Morgan, MPH, a public health researcher, innovator, and storyteller passionate about making conversations around sexual health, HIV/STI prevention, and wellness more visible in everyday life.

What started as a creative hobby designing custom concert-inspired t-shirts evolved into a larger vision: using fashion as a tool for health communication. After seeing how apparel could spark conversations, challenge assumptions, and create moments of connection, Taj launched IDK Stigma to explore how culture, storytelling, and design could help normalize topics that are too often stigmatized or left unspoken.

A first-generation graduate, Taj earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Systems Management from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a Master of Public Health in Health Behavior from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, along with a Graduate Certificate in Innovation for the Public Good.

His work sits at the intersection of public health, human-centered design, social innovation, and culture. Through IDK Stigma, he hopes to build a future where important conversations are not only easier to have, but visible in the places people live, gather, create, and connect.
